After ~1.5 years I've updated the SkewDB, which now contains details of the GC skew of over 53,000 chromosomes and plasmids. GC skew is the poorly understood phenomenon where one half of a bacterial chromosome has a small but consistent excess of 'G' compared to 'C'.
