Most people who tout “critical thinking” are just parroting someone else’s opinions that simply aren’t mainstream.

All media has an agenda, including both mainstream and “alternative media”. All you have to do is follow the money and consider what the interests are of the people sponsoring that media, whether it’s a foreign government, corporation, or otherwise.

The same can be said of the “doom and gloom” folk running channels on YouTube or other social media. How do these people profit off your doom and gloom? Clicks, views, likes, merch? Even bitcoiners fall into this trap sometimes, like selling our data in surveys for some sats.

The sad irony is that people who call others “sheeple” are most likely to be “sheeple” themselves to a different degree or from another vantage point.
