I've noticed that at my place, too. Rabbits everywhere, and they have almost no fear of people. It's weird. I'll walk through the orchard and they'll just casually stroll right across in front of me. I wonder if the excessively hot and dry weather this summer took out some of the predators that would normally keep them in check, or if the nice spring weather we had meant more babies. Either way, lots of rabbits.

I also have a family of four juvenile raccoons that come by every night to eat fallen pears. They also have no fear, they don't run away unless I make a sudden move at them.
