I actually see the same "big tech" influence, here, consolidating market share. There are whole areas that are basically impossible to break into, now, unless you're already popular or on some payroll.
I think that's why I noticed it and am so loudly encouraging people to "figure out how this new Internet works", "form development teams", and "claim new spaces".
If we want to keep Nostr weird, we have to keep it distributed. We can't have a handful of people writing NIP after NIP after NIP.
