Among my many frustrations with the Hanania affair and its fallout is the asymmetric response in libertarian circles to right-wing ideas vs left. If you say lots of racist stuff and push "race realism," too many libertarians will bend over backwards to defend you or explain away your indiscretions. But if you say "there might just be some systemic racism" or "maybe some social justice concerns are valid," those same people will decide you're corrupt or irrational and not worth listening to.
