2024-01-22 - Have you ever scrapped a written character? Why?
Of course. Many times. It's always a case of what works best for the story.
Sometimes you need to kill your darlings even before they've been fully born.
In my current WIP, one of the protagonists has been written, cut, re-imagined, cut again, re-included, murdered, and now she finds herself as a protagonist. I think she'll stay there this time.
