Yesterday I tried to install acrobat reader on Windows, I ended up having to give up and just view the pdf in the browser, too many hoops to jump through, and an installation screen that wouldn’t respond. I have Ubuntu dual boot on the laptop, I feel there is a need to publicise that for an undemanding use case, Linux is especially straightforward.
