There's something to be said for this solution. I was a punkass kid that didn't want to try in school. In my teens, I picked up some manual labor jobs. Made me realize that jobs like that degrade my body, and if I wanted to sell my body for a paycheck, my body would probably break down in various ways before I could retire. Then my retirement is spent all achy, creaky, and poor.
Then I learned computers and began selling my sanity for a paycheck instead.
