The true achievement of #bluesky has been missed by everybody and will be thrown away.
Many really enjoy and even need a closed, gated/invite-only, private, no-ads, no-algorithm, positivity/fun inclined social media space.
I suspect that much of the quality of the #fediverse for many is accidentally building the equivalent through relative obscurity but without any necessary design/tech guarantees.
There’s probably something to be learnt there, especially amongst all the #threads angst.
