Most people have only understood the side of the argument that they agree with and they think everyone who disagrees with them is some sort of idiot or crazy person, who is simply incapable of thinking clearly.
But, as I've said before, human behavior is inherently reasonable. In that humans tend to do, think, or say things for a reason -- even if they are not cognitively aware of the reason and/or capable of explaining it.
Never assume that there is no reason. There is always a reason. You just don't understand it. You are the one who is clueless.
