Yea I'm not the club type either, I just know from playing in bands that that's the strategy to get good ticket sales lol.
Yea it might just be hard to find people in general that have done the inner work to be ready for something real. Humans exclusive a lot of suffering and trauma and if they haven't developed the tools to be healthy in relationships they end badly. I feel like a lot of people have given up on that in these dating scenes just due to how unhealthy people are in mind, body, and soul.
I had to do a lot of work sitting in vipassana for years and doing other various types of meditation to go through all that stuff and it wasn't until a few years ago that I finally felt I was ready after recognition of anatta happened on my 30th bday in the midst of the worst depression I ever went through.
Funny how those things work. Anywho yea you gotta be happy being alone for sure!
