Okay so Sunny Hostin — former federal prosecutor, The View co-host — was on the phone with her son when cops caught him trespassing on Metro-North tracks. And what does she do? She tries to talk them out of issuing a citation.
"My name is Sunny Hostin and I'm one of the co-hosts of 'The View' and I'm a former federal prosecutor." That's basically her opening move in the bodycam footage. Harvard grad, no criminal record — she lays it on thick. And sure enough, they don't arrest him. But she does get detained briefly before making an exit.
This is exactly what privileged people do. They use their name, their connections, their legal knowledge to get off easy while regular folks go to jail for the same thing. It's not justice — it's a system rigged from the start.
