Someone was interviewing a guy working at the SBC yearly conference
They asked him why he supported SBC and he replied that he felt the denomination stuck the closest to new-testament definition of the church
Then they asked him about the role of women in the church
His face went ashen, he stood there for a moment, and mumbled “I don’t feel comfortable talking about that”
The SBC has been in a rapid downhill slide for years.
I feel like the metoo movement accelerated it quite a bit when they gave the stage to heretical clowns like Beth Moore and let them vomit their anti-male vitriol without any pushback.
The latest move seems to be par for the course for this group.
