I’ve seen plenty of ecash in use here at BTC Prague (npub167n…zu3r) — some fedimints and cashu.
What we as users need and want are simple products to run our own mints as easily as a start9/umbrel app or btcpay server plugin. Hell, even a digital ocean image.
If we’re using someone else’s lightning node, it might as well be our own
