After a blocky first hour, D2 livens up as you finally get to meet other characters other than Chalamet and Zendaya. Shots of sand and people raising their arms in solidarity just add to the almost 3-hour runtime.
Florence Pugh barely registers as a character and you'd guess her Princess has more to do in later installments. Dave Bautista YELLS ALL HIS LINES before making no impression.
Austin Butler steals a handful of scenes as younger Harkonnen and you're glad for another non-Chalamet character to make some kind of impact onscreen.
Sand strewn spectacle from Denis Villeneuve and you only have to wait 3 years and 3 hours this ends.
Drink a cupful of sand every time someone says "Messiah".
Drink two cupfuls of sand every time Chalamet says, "I'm no Messiah".
