When the oil ran out, the 'entrepreneurs' weren't content with panels gathering sunlight. They built a great #pylon so they could string wires to the #sun & pull out its #energy as they did oil from the ground!

But even this wasn't enough. As the sun dimmed from this misuse, they caged it, so only they could have its power, dispensing as they saw fit.

In the end, this went about as well as might be expected! Their final #sunset was pretty… but brief
