This was a good book. (With a bit tighter editing of plot and pacing, it would be a great book.) Entertaining. Gripping. Never a dull moment. A nicely tricky and imperfect protagonist. Memorable, fully-formed secondary characters. And terrific writing, sentence after sentence, page after page.
