I like that advice, to "calm down." How easily we can get into heated arguments over things that we do not actually know, and defending people we have never met.

I am increasingly fascinated by the number of things I do not know, things I have been taught are incontrovertibly true -- religion, yes, but science and social issues, current events and past ones.

But there is an excitement about asking questions and looking for answers. It's a journey, one that we're all on.
