We often focus a lot on the decentralization, the non-commercial character, the autonomy, and other such ideological aspects as advantages of the Fediverse over corporate social networks, and that's all cool stuff, sure.
But one major argument is just the amount of smut and how it's generally ok (with appropriate labeling), often explicitly welcome, while the corpo networks trip over their own feet trying to auto-detect the gender presentation of a nipple.
I've genuinely not seen as many (and as many differently shaped) exposed bodies on a general-purpose social network as here.
