Becauae we are in to #bitcoin and understand debt and fiat crap money....
He's gonna be getting into a vehicle that is a 1999. All his friends getting new cool Mustangs or Teslas, and at first this old gold metal box I think kinda embarrassed him.
After driving some his tune changed. The freedom of behind the wheel. The lesser stress if something goes wrong and we aren't out 10's of thousands. There is no need for extreme comfort and luxury. It is a tool, to get you here or there. That's it.
I had driven a vehicle I adored for 15 years....got into a new one, insane expensive, (for us, normal new average for lower average plebs) interior quality is sh*t...looks pretty, drives nice. After my yearly income being debased by 25% in a short period of time... I can't stand paying this much, I don't need to look the part. It is unsustainable to pay this. If we could not afford to put 25% in savings, and my worth is 25% less....well you get the picture people face here. For less than AVERAGE decent new car.
I'm putting my money where my mouth is, dumped the new vehicle, going back to my good old trusted 2005 model favorite no bells or whistles car. Abused by the system, I'm not gonna continue to get used.
