Happy to have a respectful conversation.

I don't see Satan's rebellion as one against oppression but as an attempt to seek greater power in an effort to oppress.

I firmly believe we all serve a master and choose who that master is. I also believe we sometimes do a poor job of serving said master (especially Christians).

Though Scripture calls for us to act and live a certain way, it is, for the most part, voluntary. Feeding the poor, caring for your elderly parents, helping the stranger with the tire on the side of the road, are voluntary actions. You can voluntarily show God's love or you can choose not too. One will grant one greater relationship with Christ, one will not.

I would disagree with the idea of ultimate individualism. How many individuals, who don't adhere to the Scriptures, live in ultimate individualism? Unbelievers and unregenerate believers seem to live pretty similarly.

To me, technology is a the result of man creating with God's creation. We've been given the ability to do some pretty amazing things. Technology doesn't detract from my beliefs at all.
