Yeah, that was repulsive but it doesn’t truly discredit anything he may have said that was true.
Truth can come out of the mouth of the most wicked people.
We often use people’s worst examples as a shortcut for filtering who we should give our precious resource of time and attention to but that isn’t always the best strategy if for no other reason than it gives bad people a means to influence what voices we might dismiss out of hand before actually hearing the arguments.
