9 years is no small feat. I’m sorry it didn’t pan out better.
I was married very young, and have been married +/- 20 years now.
All of our friends and family were getting married at about the same time, and none of them made it.
For every gold digger there was a guy banging someone on the side. For all of the relationships I’ve watched fail, and there have been many, no one sex was really to blame.
I’m older now so it may be different with the younger generations that are entering adulthood, but there are scoundrels of both sexes.
