I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never read Mark Twain’s “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”. So, I’m finally reading it, as a prelude to reading the new novel, “James”, by Percival Everett, which has the enslaved character, “Jim”, from the Twain book as its protagonist. I haven’t felt this excited about reading two books back- to-back in a really, really long time. #books #reading #marktwain #huckfinn
