The PATRIOT ACT can be invoked in any declaration of national security - a very broad reaching definition.
FinCEN is currently invoking the PATRIOT ACT to limit cryptocurrency mixing and privacy both domestic and foreign. This one act alone, passed out of fear mongering after 9/11, grants unilateral enforcement by a non-elected select few.
It is a disgrace. America is not a democracy. It is in the hands of only a few powerful individuals.
I call for the creation of the "The American Institute of Noncompliance" whose sole responsibility is to provide legal council and support for developers who work in the technological privacy implementations and do so via noncompliance with the non-elected enforcement activities of the United States.
I may create this non-profit organization myself.
