It's striking me that I should add a note about boosts and stars.
Strictly speaking, a boost just means you think other folks should see it. Strictly speaking, this is not an endorsement. Often it is. Sometimes it will simply be to amplify a voice which I find interesting or important for some reason. I may be withholding comment out of respect or because I have not looked into the matter.
Stars, on the other hand, signify approval at least in some (indeterminate) form.
