My favorite thing about tech is every few years there's some new overhyped technology that results in a bunch of people picking $thing and founding a company that does $thing with $technology, without any understanding of either, or a single clue what problem they're trying to solve.
They'll literally be like "we're disrupting the dog food industry with ChatGPT" and their product will be like a $99/month subscription service for a LLM that reminds you to remind your dog.
