I sold someone a pumpkin spice Starbucks bottle on Monday. My comment “It’s August!” upon seeing the label was completely lost on the customer.
Also apropos of a typo I fixed, I shall now call this “pumpkin spite” until Nov 1 when Thanksgiving season reasonably begins.
