Thankful I didn't have a house fire over the last 24 hours of having my AC exhaust pumping the hot air back into my server room. I'm sure I cost the device life of a number of my servers / hard drives though.
To fix it I've drilled my own connectors into the pipe and exhaust plate. Now I've got a bolt holding them together instead of the flimsy slide in connector. I just hope I didn't crack any of the plastic with my drill bit but we'll cross that bridge if it becomes a problem.
