This law kind existed already. It wasn't really a law but a cultural strongly enforced rule. Up until a few decades ago it wasn't acceptable for men to wear female clothing or object to gender conformity. Society was always more tolerant towards gender non conforming women than gender non-conforming men. The LGB (Yes, gays and lesbians) popularized men wearing female clothing and radfems loved that and supported that. Religious folks were against but they lost. Now, ironically, many in our movement are expressing the same arguments and feelings religious folks did towards men who wear female clothing
