Cobb was born #OTD in 1876.\n\nAt the age of 17, Cobb began working for the Paducah Daily News, where he quickly made a name for himself with his keen observations \u0026 humorous writing style. In 1904, he moved to New York City and joined the staff of the New York Evening Sun. His work as a journalist \u0026 columnist gained him national recognition.
