France emerged from the last présidentielles/législatives as the only major European country in which the hegemonic force on the left was the "gauche de rupture," based around LFI, which is uncompromised by neoliberalism and Atlanticist militarism.

What remains to be seen is if this relative hegemony can be preserved and consolidated over this next legislative cycle. I certainly hope it will. The NUPES forces have already outmanoeuvered Gluglu on the matter of the electoral pact.
