I don’t want to seem indecisive but I really don’t know😂😅
Reasons why:
•If the Timberwolves height and length can isolate Derek Lively from the game, the Mavs will not get rebounds… which calls for major offensive work from Luka- who is shooting poorly from 3 and Kyrie -who often sparks up in the 4th quarter. If this goes to plan, the Wolves can finish this game in 3 quarters.
•HOWEVER, if there are two players who can humble you it’a Luka and Kyrie. They are capable of reading the game early and adjust quickly, how they compliment each other is the reason why they are this deep in the playoffs. Plus, as we saw against the Suns two years ago, Jason Kidd is able to make defensive adjustments that can suffocate any team and shall he go to that- we will see how the young Wolves react.
Many have this game and series to be an offensive showcase and that is understandable- points production from the stars is still expected. BUT as seen in almost all teams(barring the Indiana Pacers), defense has dictated this year’s playoffs and it will make it’s name again tonight‼️. With that being said, my very loose prediction is Dallas is going to steal game 1🤷🏿♂️
