Basically all I can really tell you from a cursory glance is that the muscle grouping of the hypothenar eminence got it far worse than the muscle groups in the hand comprising the thumb, the abductor and flexor pollicis brevis, definitely the opponens, etc.
Kid's hand is royally screwed but is likely salvageable given what still appears on the x-ray. Really weird.
