Glad to hear Zapstream is moving into YouTube alt -type video platform. It looks pretty cool and avoids looking like a bitcoiners-only thing.
Making users pay to upload is probably going to mean that it won't really reach new people outside of those already here. I think it's quite a big hurdle for someone just testing the waters, they may even be unfamiliar with bitcoin/lightning too. Which is kind of also the people I think it would need to attract (?).
Obviously this is their approach to the costs problem and spam content videos. Not sure how you get around that whilst also attracting new video content people outside of the bubble #asknostr 🤔 via a nostr.build upload with nostrbuild taking a percent of whatever gets zapped to the video? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
