If you use e-book reader software to open a reference book in ePub form and flip to a chapter half-way through to look at something, it suddenly gets all excited and says "you've read 63% of the book".
You'd think programmers would know the difference between random access and sequential access, but I guess product managers might have not gotten the memo.
