This sentiment has existed for as long as new things have come along and will happen in the future with newer things.
It is a valid view point because this is how we signal that more work needs to be done in what may be more important.
I agree interoperability as in solving the walled garden problem is probsbly nostr’s best feature.
Nostr is never going to out-twitter twitter or out-do YouTube etc.
The focus will need to be both on some base interoperability and uses for Nostr that are more in the background.
Probably rambling a bit.
