Why would they be forced to recuse themselves? Just because he nominated them? If that were the case any justice recently put on the bench would need to recuse him/herself in any case involving the federal government. That doesn't happen. So should Jackson recuse herself since Biden nominated her and it could be argued that the ruling could help Biden?
The whole idea behind lifetime appointments is that it frees the judges from these kinds of political pressures. Sure, President X nominated me but once I'm confirmed he has no say over anything I do in this job. That's a feature, not a bug.
