Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg accused the Biden administration of pressuring him to suppress COVID-related information, prompting a House Oversight subcommittee chair to demand documents detailing efforts to suppress information. Zuckerberg wrote to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, in late August, alleging that Biden officials 'repeatedly pressured our team for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn’t agree'.
