Had a friend message me to ask how we’re doing down here so I thought i’d give a quick update on Beryl and how we’re fairing. If you want to take a peek at a map, live in far western Harris County and we’re predicted to receive a pretty fair amount of wind and rain.

So far so good though. Power is still up and looks like we had one rain band pass by that started anout an hour ago. It lasted about an hour… not quite. Sprinkles then a good, heavy rain and quite a bit of thunder.

We’re gonna try and get out to see if we can load up on ice for our three coolers just in case we lose power.
