Yeah it has happened to me too and it can be nerve wrecking.
By far the easiest solution is to solve it by talking but it's probably impossible in this case since other people are already involved and it's not solved.
I'd say that underhanded tactics to get her evicted are best at this stage.
That or moving.
Now if you want a cheap way to make noise, how about hammering some nails on a thick large piece of wood that you lay across a brick wall. You could also hammer a thick book. Surely the sound will travel nicely along the brickwork. Also, there might be a sewage pipe going through the bathroom that would make any noise made nearby sound even louder.
Also what type of noise is it? Busted up appliances, the niglet screaming, TV?
