I'm looking at doggies since one dog is not enough. There's Poppy in Memphis who has one blue eye and one brown eye, and she's in foster care having a great time. Then there's Josie in Portland, Maine, extremely fearful of humans, living in the shelter; she looks somewhat like Dog. The latter rescue said they would be willing to reduce or eliminate her adoption fee because I sound so perfect, or, rather, Pascal sounds so perfect (Josie loves other dogs).

I should probably go the easy route, but on the other hand I am extremely patient with dogs (not so patient with stupid humans at this age!) and I know Josie's prospects are not good for finding the right home.
