Looking at the Windows 11 problems I still have my suspicions about people being normie retards and not admitting it:
. They clearly don't know how to setup a local account ( Yes it's still possible in Windows 11 )
. They bitch about sign in pestering that can be bypassed
. Terrible at messing with settings and quite tech illiterate ( A lot of them have the default appearance enabled as an example, you can make it behave like Windows 10 and move the icon to the left )
. They're installing debloat software they downloaded from a suspicious source on github ( Likely Indian ) which is probably the main cause of the BSODs but they won't admit this
. Don't have any understanding of BIOS settings despite playing themselves off as 'gamers' and they should understand now that modern multiplayer games are invasive as fuck when it comes to anti-cheat which is why they pester about secure boot settings
. Running on ancient Windows 10 OS systems and fucked themselves because they didn't upgrade not only their OS but their PC early enough before the RAM and SSD shortage like I did
And these people are trying to make it out they're going to hop onto Linux and everything will work fine for them LOL. Half their shit is going to break on Linux too because they'll have no idea what they're doing so they'll probably end up dual booting anyway. Or it will be classic Linux compatibility issues.
Kids today didn't grow out the womb like I did using MS-DOS prompts and 56k connections.

One thing I am pissed off about though is if the prices are going to be as bad as everyone says it is. That means I will effectively have to put my rendering experiments on hold as I won't be able to get a high end rig in the future, that pisses me off.
We'll see what I can come up with for 3D animation stuff with my current build. I don't think it will be that bad if I can nab a high end graphics card, depends on what happens.
One thing I am confident in, AI will go the same way as the NFT hype. I don't think it will last that long. Some people will make their millions off the bubble obviously, but I think youtubers especially who keep hyping it up will have their credibility shot to pieces.
It feels like such an astroturfed bubble to me and I pay attention to my instincts.

Unless you're just looking to make some sprite based RPG shovelware RPG maker is terrible for games development. Pick an engine or use Raylib I guarantee you'll have a much better experience.
I suspect you'll probably find Raylib way more rewarding if you're just doing this for fun it's so much more versatile.

Unless you're going to tell me you're autistic as fuck and have decided to do this anyway why would you hurt yourself trying to develop video games in Javascript? There's a reason people are abandoning that language left and right these days.
I am somebody with a fair bit of experience developing video games so you can ask me about this lol. Also I would not recommend at all necessarily writing something from scratch either, that creates extra headaches and all you're doing is re-inventing the wheel.
Why not use something like Raylib instead?

A big part of the hype around AI as well is a term I'm coining called 'programmer ego' and I've been thinking about it a lot. Too many fingers in the pie and loads of programmers want that street cred of being able to claim that they made 'sentient' AI. When in reality machine learning has nowhere near that capability because ironically even the people writing the code have deluded themselves about it.
It's like when covid happened and the scientists all started getting the red carpet treatment, remember that? They loved it, they got to talk to politicians and get on television for pushing their bullshit.
Exact same thing happening here with the programmers, so many people invested in keeping it going.

I've got to stop myself going on a tangent on this one because the lack of care triggers the fuck out of me. My money is on a 5 - 10 year timeline, the elites are experts in managed decline. They're in a bit of a panic now because they underestimate how pissed off people are about mass migration but they'll swing into action and introduce 'far right lite' as a way of mitigating the anger. People like Nigel Farage are going to conveniently come swooping in and he'll inevitably do 1% of what he promised then throw his arms up and complain it's too difficult of a problem to handle and people just need to accept it.
See for example Keir Starmer as well here in the UK, he's already switched up his rhetoric hard and he's going "Okay, okay, we'll stop using migrant hotels". What the media isn't telling people are how many weird new home builds are going up with the infrastructure and everything.
Been driving past one of these construction sites myself and you know exactly who is going to be put in them. I think though the elites underestimate just how pissed off people are about any of this going to migrants. They think it's just an optics problem and people being bothered about rapists.

I think it says a lot that it's mostly redditors and tourists who got into gaming that try and shit on the classics while praising crap like BG3 and Cyberpunk 2077 which are painfully average at best no matter how much they try to sperg at me.
It's funny as well how modern gaming's biggest detractors seem to be people who actually play the games whereas otherwise it's people who spend all their time on social media.

I think you're being way too patient with this person if it even is a person to begin with. The try hard posting from the account is the only real thing about it and I doubt the instance is going to gain anything from interacting with it in the first place.

If you guys think healthcare is bad in the US the NHS is worse. It's so bad now that people are leaving sometimes pretty recent warning everybody to stay away from certain clinics. I think it will happen, but it will not happen within my lifetime and if that's the case fuck this country. Argentina is different, you guys have a majority population like the US that has soundly rejected leftism for the most part. Perhaps, the reason I bring this up is because yet again, it's very noticeable that people who do animation shorts and such who create real value on the market or have their own original content do not need to do any of this. It's always the talking head commentators and reactors who do it.
Yes it's entirely possible they're being strung along by metrics, but bear in mind these are often the same people who laugh at other youtubers who take the bread tube route or try to start drama for clicks.
I'm trying to to be too much of a dick about it because people in glass houses and all that but when the old pattern recognition gets set off it's very hard to ignore, I'm glad other people are seeing it.
One of the things that's very telling as well about youtubers is they've become the very thing they hate when it comes to journalists etc. as well. They regurgitate sources among other things and don't do any proper research for the most part and you look at them and think, yeah you're going to get in trouble one of these days for repeating something that's a complete lie. They're too busy farming on youtube to care.
If I planted a fake story about a viral pile of poop on some news sites, they would spam about it uncritically and think it's hilarious, even if the news story was completely fake.

I guess I'm lucky in a way that I'm not somebody who is terrible with finances but I will never understand people with that 'line must go up' mentality. It's not just AAA studios that do it, you see it with youtubers quite a bit these days as well even the ones that I would have thought would know better.

I've been pondering about whether or not it would be worth it to pay for a streaming site for anime especially if I go abroad because I've been thinking a lot about a portable setup these days. I find it remarkable that people regard the damn comments page of all things as a 'feature'.
Comments pages on video content are cancer at the best of times and even as an end user I can see why companies want to get rid of them these days. When I want to watch a video I don't want to see a spam of brainless chatter at the bottom of the page and if I wanted a running commentary on everything going on in the video I would just invite family members over to watch but I find that sort of thing incredibly annoying.
That's nothing to say of the bots and general spam that often floods the comments pages generally especially on youtube when the video gets more than 2000 views. Bring back proper fan forums and community sites for that sort of thing where we can take proper measures against bots and people can sperg out as much as they like without ruining the viewing experience on the UI and gatekeep any tourists.

Johnny Somali, I've been watching his lolcow arc a bit, it's getting funny again. It's more complicated than simply being thrown in jail because the South Korea legal process is a bit length apparently. He keeps making it even longer because he keeps sperging out and got himself arrested again because he was half naked out on the street in broad daylight.
He seems to be thinking that if he racks up more charges or whatever they'll just deport him and he doesn't realise that they're letting him carry on deliberately. One thing you have to give Unreal Engine 5 is the physics engine really is quite sophisticated compared to it's counterparts. Having a look now at some videos and honestly, if you're going to do anything with destruction and vehicles in it Unreal is your best bet realistically.
I've used Godot and Unity both wouldn't even bother trying to setup something so complex on Unity and with Godot it is a massive pain to setup vehicles. You can definitely do ragdolls in Godot no problem, Vehicles you can do with some work but it's one of those things where you save so much time in Unreal because they clearly spent some proper time on it.
Which makes it all the more confusing I don't see AAA studios abusing the fuck out of it to make fun games but then again they're low IQ woke devs most of them so there's that.

Being serious for a moment that kind of bullshit is probably why motorcycle deaths overall are so high. Even in the motorcycle community they're pretty ruthless about people who die because they all know it's some retard who got a 1000cc sports bike and was racing it through the streets thinking they'd be fine.
I'm looking at getting a scooter and the most I'm going to do is a comfy 125cc automatic lol. I see boomers by the way in my neighbourhood who pull this shit on normal bicycles and they're riding around on the roads with no helmet.

Oh I have all sorts of theories but I don't have proper proof yet, but for example we have a massive problem in the UK with out of control spending on 'infrastructure projects' that never go anywhere and keep getting pushed back to ridiculous timeframes like 2030. Miles of motorways that are mysteriously always under construction yet there's nobody working them the majority of the time.

It's a modern game designed by woke devs that's developed by third world contractors and tested by other third world contractors, that's really the only conclusion that I can draw. Bethesda did this with Fallout 4 and their HD pack ends up adding what 30gb+ to the game?

Might have finally rage quit GTA Online for good now, I got the Cayo Perico heist setup. Thought I'd give the stealth section a try with 4 players, one retard triggered the NPCs because they were too impatient and went for a pair that were supposed to be simultaneously taken down through, you know teamwork.

One thing that's becoming quite blatant about these youtuber circles is they are not only extremely corrupt on the level of Hollywood actors they are also incredibly shit at finances. It's funny when they do their e-begging and inevitably get doxxed over doing something like illegal drugs or some kind of family issues and then it all makes sense why they behave the way they do. They're milking the fuck out of their fanbases in order to feed their lifestyle and they're not doing anything about production quality or trying out different content.
Digging into the finances of youtubers lately has been more interesting than a lot of their content and I've grown to kind of despise commentators that e-beg. I remember learning about Lauren Chen and even after the whole Tenet scandal there were still people trying to simp for her and it's a case of dude she has six figures in her bank account and she was trying to play the victim, no wonder she eventually dropped off the face of the planet.
Lauren Southern seems to be the same way but perhaps she's sniffing around for extra cash so she can by some sort of McMansion or plot of land I don't know, very weird.
I could go into a lot of detail about all these guys thanks to kiwifarms because they do good work and I find it more interesting as well that they like to circle the wagons a lot when it comes to any form of criticism. One thing that's really noticeable about youtubers, the ones who actually make original content and aren't just reading off news articles weekly going "Mm, yeah, mm, uhuh" don't pull any of this shit.

I'm not even going to get one even though I could probably benefit just having a short range vehicle like most guys my age so I can go to and from the shops fast if I don't have use of the car. They're going to clamp down on this, it's way too convenient and useful.
I don't see wheelchairs and mobility scooters that much, must be dependent on the area and how many boomers there are. Although I do see sometimes the odd boomer on a standard bicycle that looks like he's got an absolute death wish and isn't even wearing a helmet.

Random fact about the UK which I was not aware of, apparently e-bikes are becoming more of a thing here and I have noticed them about in some areas where I've been driving. Vehicle insurance costs a ridiculous amount even for somebody my age and I'm 34 now. It's an absolute nightmare for anybody younger and boomers don't fucking care because they're typical selfish pricks.
Apparently you don't need insurance or even a license to use one despite it clearly being a 'vehicle' because you don't need to pedal but it's one of these retarded ways that something has become a work around in our system. They've got some specific rules about not using them on pavements but that's about it.
These shit heads in charge of the country are definitely going to clamp down on e-bikes when the inevitable accident statistics start coming in. They'll probably make you get insurance and it will be £500+ a year.

To give some context, there's this guy who's made a channel called Brittanica called Callum and if you don't know him I don't blame you he's a Brit who worked at the lotus eaters for a time and now has his own youtube channel.
He makes documentaries going abroad to places and generally exploring them but like Miles in a way he tends to favour places leftists and others talk about without having actually been there.
He visited America and El Salvador recently, came back and he got detained by the police over fuck all and they started questioning him about his trips to those countries specifically. They took his phone etc. and it was only until awhile after he got it back.
If they'll do that to some youtuber like Callum normies don' t even know about imagine what they're going to do to Lord Miles who does have some pull with normies because of his antics. Mind you, he's probably in a better position than most Brits to flee, he could always go to Afghanistan and they'd welcome him as a hero over there.
