The guide is ready. Before you try it, a few disclaimers:

1. I’m not a technical guy, so take the instructions with a grain of salt. There is a real risk of making a mistake and losing your sats, especially if you’re doing this for the first time. Start with a small amount that you can afford to lose and make sure you understand each step before moving on. Do not try to split your whole stack on your first attempt.
2. This is probably not the best way to split your coins, but it’s how I did it. It works.
3. Do not rush the process. I’ve tried my best to make it as simple as possible to follow, preserve your progress, and retrace your steps if needed.

Any suggestions for improving the guide for plebs are welcome.

I’m working on a guide that teaches you how to safely split your XBT from BTC coins. It’s currently in the proofreading stage, and I’ll probably release it in a couple of days.

In the meantime, you better start syncing your Knots 29.4.2 node. It can be a pruned node (40 GB of free disk space), but you’ll still need one.
