NATO has invoked Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty at Poland’s request after dozens of Russian one-way attack drones violated Polish airspace last night. Article 4 requires the North Atlantic Council to hold urgent defense and security consultations whenever “the territorial integrity, political independence, or security of any member state is threatened.”
