The Israel Defense Force has identified the two soldiers from the Nahal Brigade’s 932nd Infantry Battalion who were killed Sunday morning in an attack by militants near the “Yellow Line” in Rafah, southern Gaza, as Maj. Yaniv Kula, 26, and Staff Sgt. Itay Yavetz, 21. Three additional soldiers were wounded in the attack but have not yet been named. In response, Israel launched a large-scale wave of airstrikes targeting Hamas and Hamas-linked sites across the Gaza Strip.
