Pretty sure I now can build a totally secure authentication system (xAL3+) using a 30 cent NFC card, a borrowed android phone, and a lousy internet connection.

Successful first phase of integration of selfie-recognition into #nostr #safebox.

The routine crunches your face down to a deterministic 32 byte digest which can be transformed into a nsec/npub corresponding to your face. The goal is to use this as a second factor, or for use cases where a doctor might need to verify you in real time before sending you sensitive records. Lots of possibilities.
