Today in this life ...
Off to breakfast with a group, from which Missus will take the ladies to an event, a couple hours away, where she will speak. Men will remain and do some serious things.
Maybe somebody will give me a ride home or scrounge me up an uber, since apps like that are not a desirable addition to life.
So the afternoon and evening will be spent wondering what I will eat, within walking distance of the house. Or snacking the time away.
Today is also the 257th anniversary of the city, and an optional holiday, so not a few places will be closed.
