I had an uneasy feeling about Tether's sponsorship and strong presence at Plan B Forum conference in El Salvador last year.
Other attendees felt even stronger about the mix. One older woman attendee who shared her "rags to riches" from Bitcoin with a few of us earlier said she was leaving the conference early due to the shitcoinery of Tether. She heard the Bitcoin OGs speaking on stage weren't allowed to say anything bad about USDT and Tether at the conference.
