According to a recent draft Pentagon report reviewed by Reuters, China has likely loaded well over 100 DF-31 intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) into its three newest silo fields near the Chinese–Mongolian border. The assessment comes as the People’s Liberation Army continues a major nuclear expansion that is projected to result in a force of more than 1,000 warheads by 2030.
